Planning a Father's Day Guys Trip to Nashville

Father's Day weekend is a great excuse to get the dads, the brothers, and the old buddies together in Nashville. The city is built for a guys trip: golf during the day, whiskey and live music at night, and plenty of room in a good rental to just hang out in between. Whether you are celebrating a new dad, an old one, or just using the weekend as a reason to get the group together, here is how to plan a trip that is all hangout and no errands.

Pick the Right Base

For a guys trip, a short-term rental beats a hotel almost every time. You get a living room to watch the game, a kitchen, outdoor space for cornhole and a cooler, and room to set up games and actually spend time together. Hotel rooms scatter the group; a rental keeps everyone in one place.

Look in East Nashville or Midtown for more space and better value, or stay closer to Broadway if nightlife is the priority. If golf is a centerpiece of the trip, consider a place with a yard or patio where you can set up games and grill between rounds.

Daytime: Golf and the Outdoors

Nashville has solid courses if you want to book a tee time, but you can also bring the golf to the rental. Our golf simulator and putting green let the group play and compete without leaving the house, which is ideal when half the crew would rather grill and watch than commit to 18 holes in the June heat.

Set the simulator up alongside cornhole and a stocked cooler and the backyard becomes the hangout for the whole afternoon. It is the kind of low-key, competitive downtime that guys trips are actually about, and nobody has to drive.

Evenings: Whiskey and Music

Tennessee whiskey is part of the trip whether you go out or stay in. A Tennessee Whiskey Tasting at the rental gives the group a curated flight with premium glassware and tasting cards, a relaxed way to start the night before heading to a show or a honky-tonk. It is also a nice way to mark the occasion if you are celebrating a milestone, without the wait and the bar tab of doing it downtown.

From there, Broadway and the surrounding neighborhoods have live music every night of the week. Plan one big night out and keep the others loose so the group can find its own pace.

Skip the Errands With a Fridge Stocker

Nobody wants to spend the first afternoon of a guys trip pushing a cart through a grocery store. Use a fridge stocker to handle it before you arrive. Send us the list, beer, water, snacks, breakfast, and grilling supplies, and we shop it and stock the rental so it is ready when you walk in.

Pricing is a $99 service fee plus the cost of groceries and a 20% handling charge, and we can pick up beer and liquor on your behalf for delivery with the order, though we never open, mix, or serve it. Leftovers get donated to a local food pantry. For a group that would otherwise spend an hour and a half on a beer-and-snack run, it is an easy trade.

Add a Stocked Cooler for the Backyard

If the plan is grilling, golf, and games outside, a stocked cooler keeps the beer cold and within reach all day so nobody is running in and out of the house. Our YETI-style cooler comes three ways, and the With Ice & Stocked option works just like fridge stocking: send your list and we fill it with ice and your drinks before you arrive, so it is cold and ready in the backyard from the start. Ice is included in the flat rate, and your items are billed at cost plus 20%.

Make It Easy

Get the group a good rental with room to hang, bring the games and the golf to you, line up a whiskey tasting for the occasion, and let a fridge stocker handle the supply run. Browse the full catalog and we will have the weekend set up before anyone lands.
